In order to achieve the construction target of Beijing Daxing International Airport that the utilization rate of renewable energy is not less than 10%, the construction of a ground-source heat pump system is carried out around the flood storage and detention area of the airport. The system sets up two centralized energy stations and 10 680 shallow heat exchange holes to supply energy for the area of 2.57 million square meters. The project makes full use of shallow geothermal energy, coupled with conventional energy such as natural gas and electricity, combined with a number of energy-saving technologies such as flue gas waste heat recovery, ice cool storage, large temperature difference and so on. In terms of efficiency, safety, energy saving, environmental protection and economy, the renewable energy and conventional energy are complementary to each other.
